I create bold, contemporary artworks rooted in the rugged spirit of the American West. My work blends graphic lines, layered patterns, and vivid color to capture the energy, stories, and characters that define the place I’ve called home. Working primarily in acrylic, I reimagine Western icons — from Native traditions to modern cowboys — through a fresh, expressive lens shaped by the warmth and storytelling traditions of the South. My figures radiate strength, independence, and quiet grit, inviting viewers into a world where heritage and the contemporary meet in unexpected ways.

About the Artist

I’ve lived across the American West — from Eastern Washington and Montana to the Sonoran desert of Arizona and high plains of New Mexico— and I’ve also lived for more than two decades in Tennessee, absorbing the South’s rhythm, language, and deep sense of story. These experiences shape the way I see color, form, and history, and they’re woven into every piece I create.

My artistic approach is rooted in contrast: sharp graphic lines against organic patterns, vivid color layered over graphic line work. I’m drawn to the characters of the West — the adventurers, the legends, the storytellers — and I work to portray them with both strength and vulnerability.

I work primarily in acrylic on canvas, building each piece through layers of pattern, line, and color. My process is intuitive and story-driven, often beginning with a figure or symbol that feels iconic, then expanding into a blend of myth, memory, and contemporary edge. The result is artwork that feels both familiar and re-imagined.
